AJAX – Cleaning up in IT

Google is making a huge investment in developing the AJAX approach and it can be seen in some of their latest applications such as Google Suggest, Google Maps and GMail. These projects demonstrate that AJAX is not only technically sound, but also practical for real-world applications.

At QAT we’ve been doing work with AJAX over the past year, and we have only begun to scratch the surface of the rich interaction and responsiveness that AJAX applications can provide our customers. For example, at a large state government agency, we are using QAT’s WebDaptive product (AJAX Framework for developing Rich Web-UIs) and fusing it with an AllFusion® Gen .Net (C#)-based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to give the client the Rich Web-UI they desire while giving them the flexibility, re-usability and scalability the State demands on all Enterprise Class applications.                        Learn more!

Make Application Development Easier with QAT Products

QA Technologies (QAT) has a wide range of products that cover the full lifecycle of application development. We thought the first issue of our newsletter would be a good place to introduce our products and explain the circumstances and events that brought us to out current position.

Our products were initially developed for and used by our services organization to enable them to meet the application development and business process challenges of our customers. I believe the fact that our products were developed as solutions for real customer challenges before they were commercialized has been a critical factor to our success. As a result, these products are fully integrated to deliver rapid and high quality results to our service organization and our customers.

   Finding "The Best"

When tasked by the editor of the QAT newsletter to write a short piece on IT staffing, my first thought was “what can be said about IT staffing that’s not been written 100 times.” In the end what I came up with that might have a slight shot of holding your interest are a personal antecdote or two that might shed light on our priorities in staffing.

Priority One is first finding, then taking good care of, consultants who will bring in equal parts technical and integrity/work ethic talents to our clients. Sounds simpler than it is, but once identified, we will do everything humanly possible to make them a part of the QAT family. Where it may sound cliché, ask any QAT consultant if they have ever worked with a recruiter or HR department who gave them the attention QAT does.

staffingMuch, much time and energy does go on in the recruiting of IT resources. Thankfully we enjoy what we do. It wouldn’t be much fun if we didn’t! As for those antecdotes, stay tuned for the next edition!
